Hospice of Eastern Connecticut, a program of VNA East, is a Medicare-certified, multi-disciplinary program providing care to terminally ill patients and their families. The mission of Hospice is to help patients remain at home with loved ones, enjoying optimum quality of life, while providing a comprehensive support system for the patient and their family. To achieve its mission, Hospice of Eastern Connecticut brings together a wide range of professionals to assess and manage symptoms, assist with personal care and offer emotional and spiritual support. The special pain management skills of our Hospice nurses assure that the patient can remain comfortably at home, surrounded by loved ones.
